A fantastic opportunity to provide Remote Area nursing to patients in Looma in the Kimberley region of WA.  

 

  • Position: Remote Area Nurse 
  • Location: Looma, Kimberley Region, WA 
  • Contract Duration: 5th January 2025 - Ongoing (x2) 
  • Salary: $109.21 per hour + $7.50 per hour on-call + superannuation 
  • Experience Required: Strong ED experience & triage competence 
  • Accommodation and Travel Support: Provided 
  • Education Allowance: $500 per annum*

Role & Responsibilities: 

- Ensure comprehensive triage and emergency department support. 

- On call

- Conduct health assessments and administer treatments. 

- Administer medications and perform venepuncture & cannulation. 

- Provide culturally appropriate care to various Indigenous communities in WA. 

- Ensure comprehensive triage and emergency department support. 

 

Requirements

- Current certifications in ALS, BLS, immunisations, MEC, REC, and pharmacology. 

- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.
