6-12 weeks contract starting in December, in Lismore, NSW!
Travel & Accommodation Covered + Incentive Bonus + Qualification Allowance + Potential For Overtime Hours + Education Allowance
- Conduct mental health assessments in the inpatient wards.
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Liaise with families, carers and healthcare professionals to provide holistic, coordinated care.
- A minimum of 2 years' post-grad experience as a Registered Nurse, with experience of working in mental health.
- Experience working with children & young people is highly desirable, particularly in a clinical liaison setting.
- Current Working With Children Registration (can be arranged through Verus if required).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in both inpatient and community settings.
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Experience in medication management and patient assessment.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and promoting independence in older adults.
